Institute for Financial Analysts
Business Development Manager
Across US and Canada
I have roughly ten years of financial services experience ( last eight have been in private wealth management. ) I have worked in both sides of the fence for an RIA and a broker dealer. I know many of the struggles advisors can feel when managing or building a book. I have exp in opening accounts on 401k smaller minimums to building books for a two million dollar minimum investment. I noticed a missing piece in my practice and a tremondous need for advisors / planners across the country and that's why I joined IDFA. What it offers is essential to advisors not only to learn and retain your clients in a very personal and stressful time in their life. It also separates you as a specialist in the field to build your practice. I currently live in New York City recently engaged and love fishing and sports and all major pro sports.

WHO WE ARE:
· Introduction: Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts trains advisors to apply the financial planning discipline to the settlement process of divorce.

· Divorce in the US is increasing in the over 50 age bracket and a country that has already under-saved for retirement is now faced with dividing those too small assets to support two households. The divorce rate for those over age fifty is currently 42 and on the rise.

· As financial planners you are aware of the importance of tax, insurance and retirement planning, the CDFA designation will allow you to apply those disciplines to your clients facing divorce.
